o The term ‘strategy’ is derived from a Greek word strategos ,


which means generalship or the art of the generals. Strategy
means the art of the general to the fight in war.
o Igor Ansoff was a Russian American applied mathematician
and business manager. He is also known as Father of Strategy
Management.
