WHAT IS AGRICULTURE ?
 Agriculture is the backbone of Indian economy. Agriculture is the
most important Occupation for most of the Indian families.
 Most important sector in India.
 Major issues faced are agricultural productivity, remunerative
prices for farmers, land policy, agrarian distress and eastern
states that have lagged behind the rest of the country in
farming.
 Lot of initiatives taken by Government for development of the
sector.
 Agronomy
Horticulture
Forestry
Animal husbandr
Fisheries
Agricultural engineering

WHY FARMERS ARE SUDICING?

 Though the future of India is industrialiation,
the contribution of agriculture would always
prove to be vital for making India a powerful &
stable economy in the future.
