• Parenthetical source citations are an abbreviated form of documentation.

• It does not provide sufficient details to the readers such as title of the
book, dates, volumes etc.

• Thorough information is therefore provided on the reference page (APA)

or works cited page (MLA).

• On reference page (CSE) you organize the citations numerically by the order
in which the quote or paraphrase appeared in the text.

• Reference is the last page of your research report. Citation should follow
• APA, CSE, or MLA standards.
