Current issue
• Pakistan is among the developing Asian countries where
inadequate infrastructural arrangements and mishandling
of hospital waste are reported frequently.
• Guidelines and rules laid down by WHO and the Ministry
of Climate Change (MoCC) of Pakistan
• Open dumping of hospital waste in Jinnah Postgraduate
Medical Centre, Karachi.
