TREATMENT:
For animals with bloat that is not severe, give them a bloat
medication by mouth(stop bloat, burp or bloat guard ), give
small amount of medicine at a time slowly.
Also tie a rope across the animal mouth and tie it around the
head to make the animal chew the rope to stimulate it to belch.
When bloat is severe and the animal is distressed, puncture the
skin so that the gases escape out of the rumen. Use a knife or
any sharp thing (best thing to use is a trocar and canula)
