Agra's Red Fort. Mughal emperor Humayun was crowned at this fort.

Types of Stone Use in Agra fort.
■ According to the architect, the brick was used in the inner part of this fort
and the outer part was decorated with red stones. It is said that
about 4000 workers had made this fort in about 8 years by working daily
and its construction work was completed in 1573
■ Marble Use for flooring purpose.
Characteristics of Agra fort
■ The opulent Agra Fort is made using red sandstone and marble and features the Mughal
style of architecture.
■ When viewed from above, the fort displays the shape of a semicircle and is enclosed by
massive double battlemented walls made of red sandstone.
■ These walls are about 2 km in perimeter and 70 feet in height.
