    The Agra Fort located in Agra, India was constructed using red sandstone and marble between 1565 and 1573 during the Mughal Empire. Considered a prime example of Mughal architecture, the massive fort has red sandstone double walls that are 2 km in perimeter and 70 feet in height, enclosing its 38 hectares. Inside, brick was used structurally with the outer walls decorated in red stone, and marble was used for flooring.
