History of Nestle

“Nestlé” is a Swiss multinational food and beverage company whose


business started in 1866.

In 1866 when a German pharmacist named Henri Nestlé launched his


“farine lactée”, a breakthrough infant food to deal with high mortality rates
among the infants who cannot be breastfed.
Introduction to Nestle

It is one of the largest food companies in the world, with presence in 191
countries, and more than 2,000 brands.

The mother bird feeds its two young nestlings, and below comes the 'Good Food,
Good Life' slogan.

With a US $303 billion value, the leading health, nutrition, and wellness
company– Nestle.
Nestle Problem
At this time Nestle have to face many competitors. Unilever, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, and
Danone in the food and beverage segment. Mars, Mondelez International, Ferrero, and
Hershey compete in confectionery. Now a days there sell is going down. Which strategy
they have to follow to increase their sales and profit.
