family and others
Generosity
•Also translated as “goodness,” generosity is
about being honorable and charitable. For
some, giving is even considered a spiritual
gift. If God has given you much, you can serve
Him by sharing it with others.
• “Since we have gifts that differ according to
the grace given to us, let us exercise them: if
prophecy, in proportion to the faith; if
ministry, in ministering; if one is a teacher,
in teaching; if one exhorts, in exhortation; if
one contributes, in generosity…” — Romans
12:6-8
MODESTY
• Modesty is an essential base for humility; it
may appear mediocre in the eyes of man, but
not in the eyes of God. By this fruit of the
Holy Spirit one learns to be contented with
what is just required. One doesn't harbor any
ambitions, nor take pride in any achievements
since they appear commonplace.
•Therefore, we must conduct our
lives with humility, not claiming any
credit for ourselves, but giving all
credit and thanksgiving to God by
accepting His Holy Will.
CHASTITY
•Chastity moderates desire for sexual
pleasure, the body’s most imperious
passion, according to principles of faith
and right reason. The practice of chastity is
control of our thoughts and discipline of
our senses, especially the eyes. It is greatly
assisted by modesty and purity.
Matthew 5:28

looks at a woman with lust has
already committed adultery with
her in his heart."
