O’LEVEL STUDY TOOL

 INTRODUCTION
• In Zimbabwe the o’level has been seen to be the educational level that records high failure
rate . The pass rate flactuates some where between 24 to 33 percent since 2018 , with this i
have seen it fit to make a software application that will help student to archive better or
produce better results .
 PROBLEM STATEMENT
• o”level failure rate has been seen to be high for the past dacade , the last recorded fail rate in
this period was 71.04% . Research shows that some students fail because of lack of
preperation , some don’t have access to books , some just don’t like the idea if hard copies
when it comes to books,some because they never know areas of lack , some lack practising
with exam type of questions so the exam becomes a new environment to them leading to
failure .
 AIMS
• the application system will with time reduce the number of failing students at o’level in
Zimbabwe ,it will put students in a better position to write their exams and pass .
 OBJECTIVES
• the application system will with time reduce the number of failing students at o’level in
Zimbabwe ,it will put students in a better position to write their exams and pass .
 PROPOSED SOLUTION
• Develop a Study tool application that will provide students will the notes for reading , the
application will also give students practice tests and assess them showing areas of lack . The
application also has an section which has slides of facts(notes) in case students don’t to read
a lot .
