Room service activities
Room service is ready to serve orders 24
hours a day, and room service is divided
into three sections (shifts), namely
morning shift, afternoon shift and night
shift. The number of workers in each
shift varies depending on service needs.
Because the workload on the morning
shift is the highest, the number of room
service staff on the morning shift is the
highest compared to other shifts
In general, room service activities consist of
preparation, service and other activities after
service
The preparation referred to is
1. cleaning, equipping and arranging service equipment
2. recording guest information,
3.preparing information on special dishes.
Service starts from
1. receiving and recording guest orders by
telephone,
2. ordering food from the kitchen and drinks from
the bar,
3. serving them to the room,
4.to taking back the cutlery that has been used by
the guest.
Other activities are processing the Guest Bill to the cashier,
bringing used cutlery to the Dishwashing Area, cleaning the
Tray and Trolley, then storing them neatly for the next
