Development Concept

 No. of development wells : 12 for MN-OSN-2000/2

 Water depth : up to 1400 M for MN-OSN-2000/2
 Peak gas production potential per year: 5.5 MMSCMD.
 Landfall point of Paradip considered
 The wells are spatially about 60 km apart and are planned to be
connected in daisy chain.
 Gas arrival pressure at Onshore Terminal : 30 Kg/cm2

9
Development Plan: Case-I (12 + 1 well)

10
Option: Subsea Tie Back to Shore

11
Commerciality

Integrated development
Project IRR @ 14%
commercially viable at
minimum gas price of
US$10.72 per MMBTU

12
Development Plan: Case-II (7 + 1 well)

13
Option: Subsea tie back to FPS (Hired)

14
Commerciality

Integrated development
Project IRR @ 14%
commercially viable at
minimum gas price of
US$11.96 per MMBTU

15
Integrated 2D Seismic Interpretation
 ONGC has carried out 2D integrated interpretation recently –
2500 km
 Identified toe-thrust prospects in deeper cretaceous horizons

16
Additional Leads for Future

 The toe-thrust related

feature identified during
the study can prove to be
a possible new HC play
 The fault closure
identified during the
study shows closure at
four levels: Early
Cretaceous, Late
Cretaceous, Palaeocene
and Eocene
 Need further detailing by
3D seismic
 If tested HC bearing, can
significantly enhance the
17 viability of the field
