Odontogenic periostitis

Periostitis is an inflammatory process that occurs in the

periosteum of the bone.
Padding is a connective tissue in the form of a film that
is located on the entire surface of the outside of the bone.
As a rule, the inflammatory process begins in the outer or
inner layers of the periosteum, and then penetrates into
the other layers of the periosteum.
Due to the fact that the periosteum and bone are closely
connected, the inflammation easily appears in the bone
tissue and is called osteoperiostitis.
ICD is an international classification of diseases
and various problems associated with a health
disorder.

• K10.22 - purulent, acute periostitis of the jaw

• K10.23 - chronic periostitis of the jaw
