    Cristiano Ronaldo is a famous Portuguese footballer.

    His full name is Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro. He was


    born in 1985 on a Portuguese island – Madeira. His father was a
    gardener, and his mother a chef. His family was very poor.
    Ronaldo had no toys and shared a room with his brother and
    two sister.

    He started his career as a little boy, and has played in several


    teams ever since. He is the captain of the Portuguese national
    football team. He currently playing for a Saudi club – AL – Nassr.
    He has been awarded multiple times and received for example
    the Ballon d’Or award.

    He is a philanthropist. He often donates money to Madeira or


    people who need help. He is also interested in fashion. He
    married Georgina Rodriguez, they have five children.
    I like him, he is very talented footballer player.
    He is still popular today.
