The system is designed to work on 4 wire VF Channel having impedance of 600 Ω.

 Uses the conference in E&M port of 2Mbps Multiplexer using OFC as communication
medium.
 Voice and Signal are transmitted on the same channel .

 Control Room Equipment is desktop type equipment.
 CRE is equipped with Speaker, microphone with volume control and a Handset for
conversation seven segment display is also provided to display status of CRE.
 CRE has 40 push buttons to store and dial MTWE Telephones or way station
equipment. Maximum 80 telephone numbers with the help of Shift push button can be
stored and dialed from these 40 Push buttons.
 To dial LTE telephones additional 10 push buttons are also provided on CRE.
Maximum 20 LTE telephone numbers with help of Shift push button can be dialed
from these 10 Push buttons.
 CRE can dial MTWE telephone, MTWE Group call, MTWE General call, old way
station telephone, Group call, General call and LTE telephone Numbers.
 LED bar level indicators are provided for transmission of 4 wire VF Line.

 Test Room Equipment is wall mountable as well as rack mountable

equipment.
 TRE is equipped with a Speaker with volume control, seven segment display
OK status, LCD to display settings and features and a Handset for
conversation.
 TRE is equipped with a numeric keypad for changes in settings and making
calls from TRE.
 TRE can be connected to OFC equipment with a 4W interface.
 TRE can dial any MTWE telephone or Old way station telephone which
includes General Call, Group call and telephones of LTE.
 LED bar level indicators are provided for transmit and receive of 4 wire VF
Line.

 MTWE is wall mounted as well as rack mounted equipment.

 MTWE can be connected to OFC equipment with a 4W interface.
 Four 2-wire telephones can be connected to a MTWE.
 MTWE telephones can call other MTWE telephones in the same control circuit .
 MTWE telephones can call CRE by dialing digit “91”.
 MTWE telephones can call TRE by dialing digit “92”.
 MTWE telephones can enable it’s trans dialing digit “10”.
 MTWE settings can be changed in programming mode from 1st telephone only.

REMOTE PATCHING EQUIPMENT (RPE-1900)

 Remote Patching Equipment is wall mounted as well as rack mounted

equipment used for patching two 4-Wire VF lines.
 RPE is equipped with 2 Line interfaces (Line1 and Line2) of 600 Ohm
each.
 RPE ID and Tx / Rx Gain can be set by the Dip switch setting of RPE.
 A Manual switch is also provided to select Patch / Un-Patch mode.
 RPE can be Patch / Un-Patch remotely from TRE also.
 RPE ID can be set from 1 to 9 by the Dip switch setting of RPE.

THREE WAY AMPLIFIER (TWA-1900)

 Three Way Amplifier is wall mounted as well as rack mounted

equipment.
 TWA is mainly used for expansion at MTWE Sites i.e. to add one more
MTWE on the same control circuit.
 TWA will provide a unity gain three way branch amplifier configuration.

 LTE-1900 rack has 7 slots.
Slot 1 Power Supply Card (PSU). Provides power to LTE.

Slot 2 CPU Card (CPU). Master card which controls all line
cards and interface with TRE.

Slot 3 LTE Line Card (LLC). Has 4 telephone ports per card.
(LLC are interchangeable).

Slot 4 LTE Line Card (LLC). -do-

 LTE telephones can be called by CRE and TRE, but do not have any
calling facility.
