Propeller

Types of motion for a drone.

The basic thing to keep in mind while choosing propellers for drones.

1) BPF(Blade passage frequency):- Basically it is the frequency

released when a drone fly and the propeller comes in contact with
air creating air pressure that releases some frequency of sound that
we usually experience.

This can be fixed by these two types of propeller zipline and toroidal
propellers
If we have equal spaces between blades, it tends to give more
frequency(sound) or simply noise.
To decrease this we can use a Zipline propeller. In this case,
there is only a 30° gap between the two blades.

The advantage of this propeller is that it will not produce more

noise than the usual propeller.
But on the other side it requires more power to reach at the
same speed as the usual propeller can reach but it can be fixed
by using high voltage battery.
Zipline Propeller
We have a toroidal blades propeller also which provides both efficiency
and reduction in noise.

Toroidal blades
There are bullnose, foldable blades but these two are something new
type, if we get everything done then we will go with any one of these
or a hybrid of these,
If not then we will go with bullnose blades.

Another important attachment to propellers we can do is ducting,

Ducting tends to increase propeller safety, increase efficiency and
increase its thrust.
