Professional Secrecy
• Professional secrecy is an unrestricted constitutional right that protects the professional practice of psychology.

• The psychologist must keep professional secrecy, must abstain from testifying and must adhere to the pertinent legal norms
and laws.

• Patient information will only be disclosed when the patient is at serious risk and only to qualified professionals or
appropriate public authorities.
