Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or Consumer


Packaged Goods (CPG), are products sold quickly and

characterized by high-volume sales, quick inventory
turnover, and various products catering to consumer
needs. These goods include essential everyday items
such as food and beverages, toiletries, cleaning supplies,

HUL was established in 1931 as Hindustan Vanaspati
Manufacturing Co. Following a merger of constituent
groups in 1956, it was renamed Hindustan Lever
Limited. The company was renamed again in June
2007 as Hindustan Unilever Limited.

Nestle S.A. is the largest nutrition and Foods Company in the
world. Founded and headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. It
can trace its origins back to 1866, when the first European
condensed milk factory was opened in Cham, Switzerland, by
the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company.

Marico Limited was established on 13 October 1988
under the name of Marico Foods Limited. Later, in
1989 the name of the company was changed from
Marico Foods Limited to Marico Industries
Limited.The first International office for Marico was
set up in Dubai in year 1992. Marico was first listed on

leading brands in hair care, skin care, edible oils,


nutritious foods, hygiene, male grooming, and fabric
care, among other categories. Marico's goods are a
part of millions of people's everyday lives all over the
