mouth.

reasons of why Philippines is that what it is
today.

children to act different ways or influence
them to do drugs or drink alcohol.

information for Filipinos, as it reaches even the
‘remotest areas’

The Philippine produces genres such as Action,
Romance, Comedy, Fantasy, etc.
Older movies depicted the average Filipino in
Poverty. Nowadays the majority are portrayed as
middle class.

The Philippines is a brand-conscious market.
Advertising plays a significant role in promoting
the sale of most consumer goods, and several of the
country’s top advertising agencies are affiliated
with international companies.

 Magazine – a regularly published collection of articles that
might focus on any topic in general or on topics of interest to
a specific group, such as sports fans or music fans or home
decorators.
 Newspaper – a regularly published collection of fairly brief
articles that provide updates on current events and interests.
 Book – introducing the readers to a world of imagination,
providing knowledge of outside world, improving their
reading, writing and speaking skills as well as boosting
memory and intelligence.

It borrows a lot of its ideas and influences from
Western culture of America, such as music, movies,
style, etc.
Fan adulation for their actors and actresses, singers,

The main idea of mass culture was the masses (the


people) controlled the population view on things.
This was high influenced by the media.
What the mass culture is really the ideas that the
masses of the world make us believe, and most of
the times, not only make us believe them, but they
also make us act in some way specifically.
