What are the Silent Letter Pairs
Silent letters are letters that can't be
heard when the word is spoken.
For example: In the word ‘knee', you don't
pronounce the letter ’k’.
Also, the letter ’w' is silent in the word ‘wrong'.

with other letters, so the first
consonant is silent in each pair.
