Colours

Art Explanation: Colours are like the different

crayons in your art kit. They make everything
around us look interesting and beautiful. Think of
them as the magic that brings life to your
drawings and paintings.
Colours
Scientific Explanation: Colours are a bit like the way you see the world through special glasses,
but instead of glasses, you have something called light.

● Light: Light is like tiny particles that travel in waves. You can think of it as a bunch of
colourful invisible waves all around us.
● Colours in Light: When these waves of light bounce around, some of them group together
and make colours. Just like when you look at a rainbow, the sunlight gets split into lots of
different colours.
● Visible Spectrum: We can see some of these colours, and we call this range of colours the
"visible spectrum." It's like a rainbow from red to violet, with all the other colours in between.
● How We See Colours: Our eyes have special cells called cones that help us see these
colors. They send signals to our brain, and that's how we see the world in beautiful colours.
