PREAMBLE
• THIS REPORT DOCUMENTS ALL THE FORUMS ACTIVITIES AND INTERVENTIONS FROM 1 ST OF JULY, 2022 TO 30TH JUNE, 2023.
• THIS WAS A TRANSITION PERIOD WITHIN THE ELECTORAL CYCLE OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA.
• SINCE THE PROMULGATION OF THE CONSTITUTION OF KENYA, THE PERIOD MARKED THE 3 RD CYCLE OF GENERAL
ELECTIONS FOLLOWING THE 2013 AND 2017 ELECTIONS THAT WERE HELD.
• THE FORUM ALSO SAW A TRANSITION OF ITS LEADERSHIP AT BOTH THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND THE GOVERNING
COUNCIL.
• SOME OF THE FORUM MEMBERS ALSO TRANSITED TO HIGHER POLITICAL POSITION IN THE COUNTRY WHILE OTHERS
RETAINED THEIR SEATS AS SPEAKERS AND MCAS AND MANY OTHERS UNFORTUNATELY LOST THEIR SEATS TO NEW
MEMBERS.

2. Release of the remuneration and benefits structures for the state officers at the county assemblies
