Elements of Art
A line is one of the simplest elements
of art. Lines are marks upon paper or
canvas. They can be horizontal,
vertical, curved, or any other shape. Art
forms that use lines include drawings,
paintings, and other two-dimensional
art forms.
LINES
Shape is the property of a two-
dimensional form, usually defined by a
line around it or by a change in color.
There are two main types of shapes,
geometric and organic.
SHAPE
Form refers to objects that are 3-
Dimensional, or have length, width,
and height. The world we live in made
up almost entirely of forms.
FORM
Texture refers to how something feels,
including its appearance and
consistency. Glass, wood, rock and
sand all have different textures, while
words that we use to describe texture
include things like rough, smooth, soft
and glossy.
TEXTURE
Color is reflected light on objects. Its
main characteristics are hue, saturation,
luminosity and brightness. We can also
describe the color as hot or cold
depending on the side of the spectrum
to which it belongs.

natatalo.

Course Routine
Rope Jumping
An exercise for children and adults
in which a rope is swung over and
under the standing jumper, who
must leap over it each time it
reaches the feet.
Running
The action of rapidly propelling
yourself forward on foot. When
running, there is a moment when
both feet are off the ground (as
opposed to walking, when one foot
is always on the ground), making it
a high-impact exercise.
Arm Circles
The arm circle is a non-weighted exercise
targeting the shoulders. It involves
extending your arms to the sides and
drawing small circles in the air with your
hands. It is common in warm-ups for both
training and athletics, and is often
performed simply until someone feels a
burn, rather than for a set amount of reps.
Hula-hoop
Hula hooping is a great exercise for
burning some extra calories and sculpting
your core muscles, and can burn anywhere
from 350 to 400 calories per hour! Along
with burning calories, another benefit of
weighted hula hooping is that it can help to
reduce waist and hip size.
Partner Rowing
This partner workout includes 3
movements that have been known by
athletes to spike the heart rate. The row
may be the only place to “hide” in this
workout. Faster pairs can push hard on the
rower and be a little more deliberate with
the other two movements to allow the
rowing athlete to settle in and accumulate
more calories.
Sit-ups or Curl-ups
A conditioning exercise performed
from a supine position by raising
the torso to a sitting position and
returning to the original position
without using the arms or lifting the
feet.
Push-ups
A conditioning exercise performed
in a prone position by raising and
lowering the body with the
straightening and bending of the
arms while keeping the back
straight and supporting the body on
the hands and toes.
Side Flex
Lateral flexion involves bending a
body part, mainly your torso and
neck, sideways. This type of
movement can be affected by back
injuries and other conditions.
