• Industries: Judaism, Islam, and Christianity

PRESENTATION TITLE 5
ISAIAH

Isaiah was a Hebrew prophet who was believed to have lived about 700 years
before the birth of Jesus Christ. Isaiah prophesized the coming of the
Messiah Jesus Christ. He was believed to have written chapters 1-39 in The
Book of Isaiah with the balance of the book authored by several other
prophets.
PRESENTATION TITLE 6
ISAIAH

Isaiah (the son of Amoz) is the author of the book of Isaiah. His name means
“the Lord is salvation,” and this idea is reflected in his writings. Isaiah
served as a prophet in Jerusalem for about 40 years (approximately 701–740
B.C.)

JEREMIAH
JEREMIAH
QUICK FACTS ABOUT JEREMIAH

• NAME: Jeremiah means "Yahweh throws"

• Jeremiah is known as "The weeping Prophet."

• Jeremiah's ministry spanned more than 40

years, from 627 to about 580 B.C.
JEREMIAH
A prophet’s life is never easy, but Jeremiah had
an especially rough time.

He is known as the Weeping Prophet, Jeremiah

was a prophet to the southern kingdom of
Judah in the Old Testament, right before Judah
ultimately fell to Babylon and was led away
into captivity. God sent Jeremiah to a
crumbling nation to warn of their impending
demise – a warning they didn’t heed.
JEREMIAH
Jeremiah preached a lot of doom and
punishment. However, his message was
ultimately one of repentance and restoration.
God was quick to remind his people that
although there would be consequences for their
sin, He still had a plan. “I will build you up
again, and you, Virgin Israel, will be rebuilt.
Again you will take up your timbrels and go
out to dance with the joyful” (Jeremiah 31:4).
EZEKIEL

EZEKIEL
QUICK FACTS ABOUT EZEKIEL

•Ezekiel was a priest who was called to be a prophet of the Lord.

• Ezekiel used 4 things to dramatize his message:

1. PROPHECIES
2. PARABLES
3. SIGNS
4. SYMBOLS 13
EZEKIEL

He is considered as the main prophet to be directed most by God

through divine symbolism. He too, like Isaiah, received his prophetic
writings and teachings from God through a vision.

14
EZEKIEL

Ezekiel was instructed by God to warn the people of Judah that

Jerusalem was to fall because of their behavior and that they were
not to mourn her fall. Seven nations were part of Jerusalem's
collapse, deemed as such due to God's judgment and wrath. Once the
city did fall, Ezekiel spoke with hope-filled knowledge that God was
to bring restoration, revival, and a future in heaven to the people.

DANIEL

PRESENTATION TITLE 16
DANIEL
QUICK FACTS ABOUT DANIEL

•Daniel is renowned for his wisdom and intelligence

•Daniel is from David’s royal family

•Daniel’s specialty is a dream interpretation

•Daniel’s ministry spans the entire 70-year captivity

PRESENTATION TITLE 17
DANIEL

Daniel contains both prophecies and narratives about the

prophet Daniel's life in Babylon, including his interpretation of
dreams and visions. Unlike the other prophets, Daniel was part
of a tradition in which young men of noble families were
brought before the king to become teachers and advisors to the
king.

PRESENTATION TITLE 18
DANIEL

Daniel's place in King Nebuchadnezzar's palace wasn't free

from controversy, from his choice of diet to his refusal of
worshipping the king, which led to a night in the lion's den.
People also found it unbelievable that Daniel spoke long-term
prophecies of Jesus's ministry, yet his prophecies line up to the
events of Jesus and the future.
