Types Of 3D Modeling

Wireframe Modeling - It represents polygons as a network of vertices. The size

and shape of polygons are modified by changing the position of each vertex.

Types Of 3D Modeling

Sculpting – It is when an artist sculpts a 3D object on a computer with material

similar to digitized clay. Software with brushes and tools that push, pull, pinch and
smooth make it easy to create detailed sculpts that mimic real life textures and
objects.

Conclusion
In conclusion, 3D modeling has come a long way first making its appearance in the
1960s and is here to stay for a long time. 3D modeling has its stem in various fields
and is being used in various fields itself.

In this term paper we went through different types of 3D modeling and different
software used by 3D artists to create models and objects. We learned the basics of
3D modeling using blender and went through some of the features of blender used
in the 3D industry.
