Introduction MET ‘s Institute of Engineering

• In this modern society, crime rate is increasing and among the popular victims are
the big residential societies and small companies .

• This is because residential societies and small companies usually do not have
appropriate entry system to prevent unauthorized entries.

• This is very dangerous and may put the societies and companies at risk . So we are
using QR code technology to identify the identity of the staff’s vehicles.

• This technology not only can be used in the companies but also in residential areas,
paid Parking zones and several other significant areas.

• This technology proposes the development of a gate system to allow only authorized
staff

Advantages
• Advance entry system for vehicles greatly increase the security of the
residential societies and companies.
• There is no need to verify the vehicle manually because it will done by the
QR code.
• Security guard don’t need to open the gate again and again because it will
done by automated gate system.
• All the entry records will automatically stored by the security system.

Disadvantages

•Society members have to inform the security in advance when their

relatives will be coming.
•Some people can refuse to stick the barcode to their vehicles.
•We have to change the QR code sticker after some days because it can gets
dirty due to dust or gets torn.
•Every society may not be afford the system.
