USE
●For unfinished actions (Action verbs) to talk
about actions which started in the past and are
still true now.
She has been working in this company for
4 years.

●For continuous or repeated actions which have


been happening very recently.

PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE / PRESENT
PERFECT CONTINUOUS
●We usually use the present perfect SIMPLE
with non-action verbs (verbs of state and
feeling).

CONTINUOUS with action verbs.
We have been waiting for you together for a
long time.
