PHISHING SCAM
In 2004 Trojan horse circulated via e-mail.
Program substituted a bogus website address for
any bank details.
When customer tried to go to the website of their
bank, they were taken to the false site.
Crooks used account details to empty victims
accounts.
HOTMAIL
A group called Hackers Unite posted
details of how to access any
Microsoft’s Hotmail account. Which
exposed correspondence of more than
40 000 000 users.
The service was shut down for five
hours.
