Trademark 4u® is a product of the largest manufacturing plant for

automotive spare parts in Turkey, which was founded in 1975.

The total enterprise productivity is more than 32 million products per year.
This allows us to state that the plant is one of the leaders in the production
of steering and suspension parts around the world.

The production capacity of the plant is more than 330 000 m 2 allow you to carry
out all the processes for parts production under one roof. This is a unique
production structure that allows you to control the process of the product creating
from the raw materials purchasing to delivery to our partners with high quality-
assured.

Since 2008 continuous expansion and modernization in all production areas:

• 2010 steel arm production workshop was launched, where 9 fully automated
welding machines operate.
• 2011 steel forging workshop with the area of ​12 000 m2 was put into operation,
where the most modern and ergonomic machines using advanced technologies
were installed. The production and manufacture of steel and cast iron products
weigh up to 60 kg and become one of the best industrial enterprises in Europe.

Air spring

Air spring refers to a kind of spring which is filled with compressed

air in a retractable closed container and plays a role of spring by using
the compressibility of gas, commonly known as rubber air bag, air bag
cylinder, leather bag cylinder, etc.
The main functions of air springs:
Shock absorption, shock resistance, sound insulation, active control,
self-regulation, light weight, energy absorption damping, greatly
improving the ride comfort and ride comfort of vehicles.
The main application fields of air spring: truck, bus, high-end car, rail
vehicle, aircraft, mechanical equipment, military industry and other
industries.

Air Spring Components
1. Stud
A permanent of the bead plate assembly used
to attach the air spring to suspension.
2. Combo Stud
This Provides a dual purpose of mounting the
air spring to the suspension and providing an
air entrance.
3. Blind Nut (Threated Hole)
A permanent part of the bead plate assembly
providing an alternative mounting system to
the Stud.
4. Air Fitting Hole
A tapped hole providing air entrance for the
part.
5. Bead Plate (Top Plate)
Permanently crimped onto the bellows,
diaphragm during manufacture.
6. Bellows
The heat of the air spring. Includes at least
four plies, or layers of material – an inner
layer, two plies of cord reinforced fabric and
an outer layer.
7. Bumper (Bump Stop)
A solid molded rubber fail safe device used
on many suspension applications. Prevents
excessive damage to the vehicle and
suspension in the case of sudden air pressure
loss.
8. Piston
The lower section of the air spring made from
aluminum, steel or composite material ie.
plastic. Provides lower mounting
arrangement for the air spring in the form of
threaded holes or studs.
9. Piston Bolt
Attaches the piston to the bellows assembly
and in some cases is extended to serve as a
means of attaching the air spring to the
suspension.
10. Girdle Hoop (Centre Ring)
A ring between the convolutions of the
convoluted type air spring, helps ptovide
stability in the part.

The warranty period for 4u® parts set by “For-U parts LLC”, is 24 months
from the date of the transferring goods to the consumer / buyer /, but not
more than 40 000 km, subject to compliance with the requirements of
storage, installation, use, provided by regulatory documents and technical
