Beauty of rain forests

 Rain forests are like the world”s magical gardens. They

are lush, green places where it rains a lot, giving life to a
wide variety of plants and animals. Imagine a place so full
of life that every step you take, you see different kinds of
trees, colorful birds, and many other creatures. This is
what rain forests are like!
Oxygen
Firstly, rain forests are important
because they help the earth
breathe. Trees in rain forests
produce a lot of the oxygen we
breathe. They are like giant lungs of
our planet. Also, these forests are
home to more than half of the
world”s animal and plant species,
even though they cover less than
10% of the earth”s surface. That”s
pretty amazing right?
Climate Rain forests help in
controlling the climate.
They store large amounts
of carbon dioxide, which
is a gas that contributes to
the Earth”s warming. So
they play a big part in
fighting climate change.
Sadly, rain forests are in danger

Forests are
because of deforestation. This means
that trees are being cut down and
forests are shrinking. This happens for

in danger! many reasons, like making space for

farms or using wood for making things.
When forests shrink, many animals
lose their homes, and it also affects
the climate.
Rain forests face a significant danger
from fires. The studies show that on
avarage, close to 1 million trees in the
Amazon are being chopped down or
burned every day. According to facts,
the situation in the Amazon was worse
off in 2023 than in the previous year,
indicating that the problem of fires
and deforestation is not only ongoing
but escalating.
