ABSTRACT
This study aims to assess the role of values in a large organization. A literature review was
undertaken through which various themes were identified. A questionnaire was designed to
assess the various themes for the case of Tata Consultancy services a multinational IT
company. Five managers of TCS were interviewed. Insights were derived from the analysis of
the respondents

intensity and alignment of personal values with those of the

organization's culture and its impact on employee engagement
