Corporate Communications

Communication is the lifeblood of all


organizations. It is the medium through
which companies large and small access
the vital resources they need in order to
operate. It is through communication that
organization acquires the primary
resources they need (such as capital,
labour, and raw materials).
According to Michael Goodman, Corporate
Communication at the first foremost “a vital
management function in contemporary
organizations”.

He states that Corporate Communication refers


to the totality of a corporation’s efforts to lead,
motivate, persuade, and inform its various
publics. Publics include consumer, investor
relations, employee and media.
According to him, Corporate Communication
can include such traditional disciplines as:

Corporate Communication is inherently
