What is DC(Domain Controller)?
• A Windows Domain is a logical grouping of
computers that share common security and user
account information.
• A domain controller (DC) Allow administrator to
manage large computer network.
• When users log into their domain, the DC checks their
username, password, and other credential to either
allow or deny access for that user.
What is Active Directory (AD)?
• AD is a database and set of services that connect
user with the network resources they need to get
their work done.
