identity badge.
WHEN?:on entering, leaving and at all times while on the
InIosys premises swipe their identity badges
ARRY WHERE?: at times oI travel to and Irom the various
InIosys oIIices as well as at client sites.

Facilities Department immediately.

returned to the Facilities Department.
PROBATION AND CONFIRMATION
The employment status can be "on probation" or
"conIirmed".
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY PROBATION?:It means a
trial/try-out/experimentation/test.
WHO UNDERGOES?: All InIoscions, , unless expressly
waived in their oIIer oI employment.
PERIOD?: normally it is oI 6 months, this may be extended
Ior a Iew months at the discretion oI the company.
WHEN ONFIRMED?: The InIoscion is conIirmed iI the
period oI probation is satisIactory.
ON ONFIRMATION: you will be given a Letter oI
onIirmation. This letter also includes any changes in
beneIits (iI applicable).
DRESS CODE AND OTHER PERSONAL
STANDARDS
Each employee is a representative of the Company in the eyes of the
public,employees are expected to conduct themselves with dignity,
integrity and courtesy at all times both within the establishment and
outside.

to the dress standards maintained at that particular customer site.

CORPORATE LATERAL INDUCTION
PROGRAMME
This programme is conducted on a monthly basis
based on the annual induction calendar published
on sparsh (the intranet). The duration oI the
programme is 3 days, the 3
rd
day, being optional.
The 3
rd
day can be used by the participants to
have an in-depth understanding oI the various
practice units by meeting the key people in the
respective unit. The program is conducted in
Bangalore or the concerned Development enter.
PROGRAMME CONTENT
The programme starts with a welcome message (video) Irom
Mr.Narayana N. R. Murthy, hairman & hieI Mentor and EO,
President and Managing Director. This is Iollowed by an
icebreaker, which aims to build an interactive platIorm. The
various sessions in the two-day programme are as Iollows:

ASHI: A mandatory session Ior all the new recruits provides
inIormation about the policy & processes oI InIosys against sexual
harassment at the workplace.
POLICY ON NIGHT SHIFT
ALLOWANCE
1. OB1ECTIVE : allowance to employees working on night shiIts.
2. SCOPE : To employees in ustomer Delivery, Finacle and
speciIic Business Enabling Functions (viz. omputers &
ommunications Division and Security).
3. ELIGIBILITY
i. Employees perIorming Roles that involve night shiIt working as
per the criteria deIined in this Policy.
ii. This Policy is applicable only to employees oI those Units which
have been included under this Policy based on annual budgeting.
iii. Overseas-based employees and employees on deputation Irom
India (Ior the period oI their deputation) are not covered in this
Policy.
. POLICY
.1. CRITERIA
i. Night shiIt timings are categorized into 2 shiIts:
a. ShiIt 1: Any shiIt starting on or beIore 6 a.m. or ending on or aIter
11 p.m. in a given date.
b. ShiIt 2: Any shiIt Ialling between 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
ii. Employees should have worked Ior a minimum oI 9 hours and 15
minutes per day in the oIIice premises to be eligible Ior Night
ShiIt Allowance.
iii. Employees working in ShiIt 2 should have worked at least 4
hours.
iv. Allocation oI night shiIt would be done by the Project Manager /
Senior Project Manager.
.2.DETAILS
i. Rs. 250/- or Rs. 400/- per night Ior ShiIt 1 and ShiIt 2 respectively.
ii. Employees are eligible Ior the NSA iI they work Ior a minimum oI
5 working days (consecutive or non consecutive) in night shiIt
(timing and duration oI the shiIt as deIined in the criteria above).
iii. All eligible employees in Security will be entitled to an
allowance oI Rs. 100/- per night iI they work Ior a minimum
oI 5 working days (consecutive or non consecutive) in night
shiIt.
iv. All employees required to work on shiIt outside business hours
would need to sign the Employment Agreement amendment.
v. Employees are required to sign the Night Shift Addendum,
received Irom the HR team and upload the same in e-docket
(Recruitment-related Section).
5. EXCEPTIONS
All exceptions and deviations to this Policy will require the
approval oI the Industry Vertical Head / BEF Head or
employee in equivalent Role and Head - Finance.
. EFFECTIVE DATE
This Policy will be eIIective Irom July 15, 2011.
POLICY ON SOFT LOAN
. OB1ECTIVE : A multi-purpose loan which the employee can use to
meet expenditure oI any nature.
2. SCOPE AND ELIGIBILITY : Employees in Personal Level 6 and
below, excluding trainees in Personal Sub Level 3T are eligible under
this Policy. However, employees in Personal Level 2 who would have
moved to Personal Level 3T as per the areer Progression Policy Ior IT
Operations stream are eligible Ior SoIt Loan under this Policy.
3. POLICY DETAILS :
i. Employees desiring to avail soIt loan with security (iI eligible) are
required to provide personal guarantee by an InIoscion provided the
guarantor has been with InIosys Ior at least 2 years and the Personal
Level oI the guarantor is higher or equal to that oI the borrower.
ii. Employees desiring to avail the SoIt loan are required to submit the loan
application in the EzLoan system. The process oI loan application,
personal guarantee, approval, etc. will be through the EzLoan system.
iii. Documents to be executed towards the loan will be prepared by the
orporate Accounting Group and the employee will execute the same
through the EzLoan system once the loan is sanctioned.
iv. II the loan is disbursed on or beIore the 20th oI the month - the loan
deduction (both Principal and Interest) will start Irom the same month.
Else, Irom the succeeding month.
v. Employee separating Irom InIosys A Iormal release and the Iinal
settlement,only aIter the loan account is settled.
vi. No Iresh loan can be availed when a similar loan is outstanding.
vii. A simple interest oI 4 per annum.
viii. Every year Iunds are allocated Ior disbursements against the Loan
Scheme. This orpus at any point oI time consists oI undisbursed loans
oI previous years, repaid loan amounts and the Iunding in the current
Iinancial year. The disbursement oI loans will, thereIore, be subject to
availability oI Iunds in the orpus.
ix. Repayment installment outstanding beyond 3 months, the company may
take disciplinary action.
3. EXCEPTIONS : Any deviation or exception to the Policy or an
exception to the procedure will require the approval oI the Industry
Vertical Head or the BEF Head.
. EFFECTIVE DATE : The Policy will be eIIective October 1, 2011.
