2) Site Selection
Plot 34
No shading obstacles on South side. A total waste land which cannot be used for any other purpose, so a perfect place for Solar Power Plant to make a constructive use of the land. The site is at a distance of about 3-4 km from 220 kVA substation and about 5 km from 33kVA substation. The whole area is un-even and full of wild grass and trees up-to a height of 2m. Certain big trees are also present near the periphery of the plot area.

Plot 42
No shading obstacles on South side. The site is at a distance of about 3-4km from 220kVA substation and about 5 km from 33kVA substation. The construction or Operation of the Solar Power Plant wont disturb the regular operations of the plant. The site has no trees and also it is a levelled land with little burnt wild grass.

Plot 43/2
No shading obstacles on South side. The site is 3-4kM from 220 kVA substation and about 5km from 33kVA substation. The whole area is un-even and full of wild grass and trees up-to a height of 2m.

Plot 45
No shading obstacles on South side. The site is 3-4kM from 220 kVA substation and about 5km from 33kVA substation. The site is not surrounded by the boundary wall

Plot 107
No shading obstacles on South side. The site is 3-4kM from 220 kVA substation and about 5km from 33kVA substation. The site is not surrounded by the boundary wall. Although the site is undulating but it is well connected to the other plots. The site will require lot of levelling.

Plot 108
No shading obstacles on South side. The site is 3-4kM from 220 kVA substation and about 5km from 33kVA substation. The site is not surrounded by the boundary wall. Although the site is undulating but it is well connected to the other. The site will require lot of leveling as it has heaps of mud mounded on the plot of

land , dumped as a result of construction nearby.

Plot 110
No shading obstacles on South side. The site is 3-4kM from 220 kVA substation and about 5km from 33kVA substation. The site is not surrounded by the boundary wall. Although the site is undulating but it is well connected to the other. The site has got a north sloping & is well drained & connected to other sites.

Decision:
Considering all the key findings and discussions, the required capacity of 2MW plant can be suitably placed at the plot number 34 & 42, 43/2 & 108 jointly as all these plots are well connected & most of the plot is leveled apart from few trenches on the boundary. The total area comes to be about 15-16 Acres. Also the sites are free from weeds & small size vegetations as they are burnt.

6) Preparing DPR

Conclusion
The DPR was at its final stage of reviewing and the project was ready to be evaluated on efficiency parameters before submitting the DPR and installation of the the plant. It was altogether a learning experience which has helped me to built in a deeper interest in the subject.
