It may be committed by Wrong actions or a Crime by an employee to promote ones own or employers interest or Theft or Damage to the property of an organization. If these things are done by a professionals, then it is known as White-Collared crimes.

Price Fixing Fixing the bidding rate by companies in collusion with the other companies, especially for the contract/services. Industrial Espionage Espionage- Practice of spying Giving design details of latest product to a competitor for personal gains.

Smuggling some important tools from ones work place and handing them to competitors. Acting as a agent to get trade secrets from former employer of companies. Bootlegging Manufacturing, selling or transporting product that are prohibited by law. In Engineering, working on project which are prohibited or not properly authorised.

Whistle blowing in its most general form involves calling (public) attention to wrong doing, typically in order to avoid harm. Whistle blowing is an attempt by a member or former member of an organization to disclose wrong doing in or by the organization.

Internal Whistle Blowing When an employee informs relevant persons within their own organization, it is called as internal whistle blowing. External Whistle Blowing When an employee informs relevant persons that lie outside the organization, it is called as external whistle blowing.

Anonymous Whistle Blowing If employee hide their identity when giving information to the relevant persons, it is called as open whistle blowing.
