INTRODUCTION -:
Skills for youth development play a crucial role in shaping the future
of young individuals. These skills empower them to navigate the
complexities of life, opening doors to success and personal growth.
A comprehensive approach to skill development is essential for
maximizing the potential of today’s youth. It goes beyond academic
education and encompasses practical skills such as critical thinking,
problem solving, communication and adaptability.
World Youth Skill Day beneficial for the workplace environment.
In 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared 15 July as
World Youth Skills Day. This is the 9th edition of World Youth Skill Day.
Theme of This day- “Youth Skills For Peace And Development”.
“Innovate, Elevate, Inspire: Be the youth who can change society”

YOUTH -:
The Skills Development Act's purpose is to expand the knowledge and
competencies of the labor force to improve employment and productivity. The
Main Aims of the Act are To enhance the quality of life of workers, their prospects
of work, and labor mobility. Also to equip them with the necessary tools
and knowledge to succeed in today’s competitive world.
HOW CAN WE PROMOTE YOUTH
EMPOWERMENT -:
Help kids and teens explore their interests and potential. Getting curious
is the first step to feeling empowered.
Give them space and trust to practice autonomy.
Speak with honesty.
Trust their ability as leaders.

Tech Mahindra Ruchika Smart Centre Is The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Arm Of Tech
Mahindra Limited. It founded in the year 2006. it work extensively on the vision of ‘Empowerment
through Education’ with 3 essential Domain – Office Administration, Customer Relationships &
Retail Sale.
There are 3 centres under Tech Mahindra – i) Ruchika Smart – I, Samantrapur, (CRS), ii) Ruchika Smart
–II, Rasulgarah (CRS, OA), iii) Transgender Centre – Bharatpur, Damana (Beauty/ Wellness)
Approximately 80% to 85% students are placed in various renowned organisation in every year.
It mostly emphases these skills for youth – Employability Skills, Technical Skills & Communication Skills
HOW IT ENHANCES EMPLOYABILITY
SKILLS IN YOUTH -:
Through doing various types of activities, some career counselling also giving
various types of essential skills like problem solving skill, critical & creative
thinking developing leadership & Team spirit Qualities the organisation
encourages the youth.
