CHS Cheerleading Try-outs Try Wed., March 7th  mandatory parent/cheerleader meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 in CHS Library.  All info re: tryouts will be distributed then.  any questions, see Coach Mayo or Coach Thompson.  Must have current physical in order to attend the clinic and tryout.

Course requests for 2012 13


 Do online through Family Access.  deadline for course request Monday, February 6.  Miss deadline, counselors will make selections for you  Need assistance accessing the online system, please see your counselor.  Directions also available on FBISD website & on Ranger Wire.

YOUNG LIFE TRIP


 sign up for Young Lifes trip to Frontier Ranch and Wilderness Ranch at 6:30-7:20 in Mrs. 6:30Mayos Room T- shack 12 on TFriday, Feb. 10th.  Come by and see Allie and sign up for the most fun you will have all summer!

Ranger Varsity Golf Team


 won the17 team Austin Invitational.  The team won tournament by one stroke.  Taylor Schoppa and Garrett Moorer led way shooting lowest team scores.  Jacob Veerman, Andrew Story, and Travis Stubenrouch rounded out team that played amazingly.  Way to go Ranger Golf!!!

Swim Team District Champs!


 Your Clements swimmers swam great and defended their District Championship for the 17th year in a row on the girls side and at least sixth in a row on the boys side!  Swimmer of the year was swept by Clements athletes: Romy Landeck and Harrison Bui won (we had two of the top three on girls, Colleen Lord was third; and top three on the boy side with Kyle Yu and Clement Dulac rounding out top three finishers for swimmer of the year

National Honor Society Induction


 6:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 in the auditorium.  informational meeting for all prospective inductees at 2:35 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26 in DLH. see Mrs. Taylor in Room 1121 or Mrs. McMennamy in Room 1133 for any questions.

SINGING VALENTINES
 Singing Valentines this year will be SOLD on Feb 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8 during the lunch periods.  They will be DELIVERED on February 13, 14 and 15 during 4th period by members of our Varsity Mixed Choir.

CONGRATS!
 Freshman Basketball Team  just finished regular season at 20-1 20 undefeated in District at 9-0. 9 CONGRATS TO PLAYERS & COACH WATTS!!!!!!

BOYS & GIRLS GOLF


 Girls won the Elkins Invitational and were led by Alex Hohn and Sydney Sanislow, both tying for 3rd.  The Boys also won the Elkins Invitational and were led by Jack Burrows, who won the tournament.

INTL FEST AUDITIONS


 Monday, February 27th and Wednesday, February 29th after school in Commons.  first-come-first-serve basis. first-come-first keep performance times from 3-10 3minutes  bring all props, costumes, and music burned on CDs.  Performances include singing in foreign languages, ethnic dancing, breakbreakdancing, hip hop, etc.
