WHAT IS 3G ?
3G is the third generation of wireless technologies. 3G is mostly used with mobile phones and handsets.

HISTORY
Introduced in 1990's by the ITU IMT-2000 (International Mobile Communications 2000) Japan was the first country to implement 3G

PREDECESSORS
1G provided only analog voice services . AMPS - Advanced Mobile Phone Service Digitization of control signals and voice signal were developed during the second generation which is 2G.
