 MICHAEL JIN has been selected as a semi-finalist for the Intel semiScience Talent Search  Won $1000  Submitted paper on cancer research  Way to go, Michael!

GERMAN CLUB
 hosted and won sweepstakes at the annual Houstonfest German contest  550 students from 20 schools here, and in winning 79 individual and group awards we scored 946 sweepstakes points vs. 669 for the next best competitor, Kingwood.  fifth consecutive sweepstakes title.

JETS Team
 (Junior Engineering Technical Society) competed over the weekend at the Texas Regional Science Bowl.  Of the 32 competing teams, our B-team placed 3rd and our AAteam placed 7th.

CHS Cheerleading Try-outs Try Wed., March 7th  mandatory parent/cheerleader meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 in CHS Library.  All info re: tryouts will be distributed then.  any questions, see Coach Mayo or Coach Thompson.  Must have current physical in order to attend the clinic and tryout.

Swim Team District Champs!


 Your Clements swimmers swam great and defended their District Championship for the 17th year in a row on the girls side and at least sixth in a row on the boys side!  Swimmer of the year was swept by Clements athletes: Romy Landeck and Harrison Bui won (we had two of the top three on girls, Colleen Lord was third; and top three on the boy side with Kyle Yu and Clement Dulac rounding out top three finishers for swimmer of the year

CONGRATS!
 Freshman Basketball Team  just finished regular season at 20-1 20 undefeated in District at 9-0. 9 CONGRATS TO PLAYERS & COACH WATTS!!!!!!

BOYS & GIRLS GOLF


 Girls won the Elkins Invitational and were led by Alex Hohn and Sydney Sanislow, both tying for 3rd.  The Boys also won the Elkins Invitational and were led by Jack Burrows, who won the tournament.

INTL FEST AUDITIONS


 Monday, February 27th and Wednesday, February 29th after school in Commons.  first-come-first-serve basis. first-come-first keep performance times from 3-10 3minutes  bring all props, costumes, and music burned on CDs.  Performances include singing in foreign languages, ethnic dancing, breakbreakdancing, hip hop, etc.
