We chose this topic because it is something everyone in the high school can relate to. We hope to be able to: ` know how much time a student is usually able to complete his assignments in his house. ` find out how much time a student needs in doing his normal day-to-day tasks. ` compare the difference between the workloads of honors/semi-honors from regulars.

The target population is the 1st Year Students in the Ateneo High School. ` We plan to ask verbally the 1st Year Student from the regular sections, and the honors/semi-honors classes [excluding 1-X] during free time such as breaks and dismissal and tally the data separately.
`

The first sample is the group of regular course students consisting of 30 students. The second sample is the group of honors/semi-honors students consisting of 30 students as well.

1. How much time do you usually spend in doing your normal day s homework at your house?
*We remind the student that the SSP (Self-Study Period) does not count to the total time of work.

2. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the effort you put in the work in that amount of time?

Based on our data, we can see that the Regular Course students spend more time studying at home than the Honors/Semi-honors students. Although this is true, in our data table we can see that when asked to rate their effort, the Honors/Semi-honors students answered higher than the Regular Course students.

We recommend ` surveying larger sample groups as this may affect/change the results, and
`

instead of excluding the Self-Study Period, including it as some students may have said a small amount of time because they have already done their work in the SSP.
