TYRE FEATURES

 Manufacturing date/expiry

This is as shown, the first 2 digits indicates the week of manufacture, while the last 2 digits the year of manufacture Most tyres have a 4 year validity from date of manufacture

TYRE FEATURES
 Traction

Traction indicates ability to stop on wet pavement. Grading of traction from highest to lowest is AA, A, B, C.

A higher grade stops on wet surface at a shorter distance compared to the lower grade

 Tread Wear Number

This indicates the wear rate of the tyre. Wear rate is less for a higher tread wear number

i.e. 220 would wear twice faster than 440

TYRE MONITORING
Maintaining Proper tyre condition
Confirm Manufacture date and replace before expiry Rotate rotate tires every 5000miles (8,000km) Evaluate tread check or damage Inflate correct pressures, check monthly

Do not inflate to maximum pressure except the car is bearing maximum load Inflate to recommended pressures as indicated in car manual, glove compartment, or on template/sticker on the door frame
