Membuat makalah/esai akademik berbahasa Inggris yang efektif, terstruktur, dan sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah dalam bahasa Inggris. Menggunakan strategi yang tepat dalam berbahasa Inggris untuk menghindari penjiplakan (plagiarism) makalah/esai orang lain.

Students need to be analytical. Students need to structure their essays logically. Students need to use evidence effectively. Students need to be critical and persuasive.

Academic Writing Style


Academic writing is structured, formal and

objective.
The structure is more analytical than descriptive. The passive voice is more commonly used than

the active voice. For example: The bridge was evaluated by the researcher (passive voice) I evaluated the bridge (active voice)
