He graduated from the University of Texas/Austin, where he started the school’s first Equestrian Club and organized a national intercollegiate show jumping competition. Work in systems implementation brought Mr. Royce to Boston in the mid-90’s, where the colorful old city sparked a passion for history that inspired The Legend of the Great Horse trilogy.
