Sacraments

We celebrate with faith and love to be more Christ-like to be able to follow and become like Christ.
Our meeting with Christ has no meaning unless we believe in Him and unless we love Him.
What do we mean when we say that the sacraments are effective signs?
They actually bring about what they promise/ represent when they are celebrated with faith and love.
The gift of sharing in Gods life that we receive in the sacraments is called sanctifying grace. Grace is sharing in the divine life, in Gods very life and love. This grace helps us to trust and believe in God. It strengthens us to live as Jesus did.
Through the sacraments the Church worships and praises God. Catholics all over the world are united with Jesus and with one another. we are drawn close to Christ become holier.
