In a 'psychotronic war' using microwaves modulated using ELF waves, it would
no longer be necessary to kill whole armies by inducing cardiac or respiratory
irregular signals. The enemy can simply be incapacitated by disturbing their
states of balance or confusing the ability to think logically. The manipulation of
