About Vigilante:
Vigilante Comics is an up-and-coming comic shop that is located in Wicker Park. Our purpose is to provide comic books and related services to customers at an affordable price, as well as act as a venue where people can relax and read comics in a specified reading area. Vigilantes focus will include providing both brand new weekly issues and older backissues. In addition, trade paperbacks, figurines, apparel, and other related merchandise will be sold as well. In addition, a membership service is provided to anyone who would like employees to reserve weekly titles of their choosing to be held. If a member reserves ten titles or more, all the single issues purchased each week will be given a 10% discount.

Vigilantes primary competition is specialty comic stores in the Chicagoland area. Most notable of these include the Graham Crackers Comics franchise (multiple locations in the chicago area and suburbs), Chicago Comics (located in the Lakeview neighborhood), and Brainstorm Comics (also in Wicker Park/Bucktown).

Identity:
Vigilantes logotype is a homage to classic superhero symbols. This allows our business to have an instant recognition to passersby.The V can also be used as a standalone icon and act its own identity for the store on various merhandise, such as t-shirts and stickers. Vigilantes color palette is a very simple 3 color system. White, black, and cyan. All three colors are convient and easy to produce in the CMYK color format. Typographically, Vigilante uses two sans serif typefaces for their identity. Univers (47 Light Condensed) and Eagle (book). Univers functions well for copy, While Eagle works best as a display typeface in headers and titles.
