Event Details
Fall session begins for children 3-5 year sold. Free, drop-in program. Screening of the NFB* film called Bone, Wind, Fire and The Mystery of Mazo De La Roche. Both movies will be presented in the librarys program room and admission is free. Fall session begins for children under three, parent participation is required. Free, drop-in program. One-on-one computer training the fourth Tuesday of every month. Learn computer and internet basics. Registration required. Anna Roberts and Ordell Steen will be at the library to give a talk and slide show about their recently released book Stepping into nature: A guide to the Williams Lake River Valley. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The 100 Mile House Library will be screening the NFB film called Pink Ribbon Inc. The movie will be presented in the librarys programme room - admission is free. The library will be hosting its annual Pumpkin Carving event for children aged five to 12. The craft will be held in the librarys programme room. Please call the library to register as space is limited. Author Chris Czajkowski will be reading from her new book Gintys Ghost The library will be screening the NFB film called Surviving Progress. The movie will be presented in the librarys programme room and admission is free. The library will be hosting a winter craft and our Mitten Tree will be setup so patrons can decorate our tree with mittens, scarves, hats and other winter items that will be donated to a local organization.
