Genre
The genre of my magazine will particularly focus on the RnB genre in the music industry as that is the genre of music that I have the most interest in therefore I believe will help me when producing my own magazine.

Audience
The social class of my magazine will be ABC1 as this is what the majority of music magazine issued come under due to the pricing and the particular target audience. The gender that I am aiming my magazine towards are both genders therefore I will have to research into what the two opposing genders have an interest in. Men will also have an interest as the girl that will appear within my front page and article will be the flirty and have characteristics that illustrates she cares about her appearance. Lastly the age range that my magazine will be targeted at would range from the ages of 16 up until the age of around 25/26.

Institutions
The publishing house of the magazine I will be producing will be similar to the company that created Billboard as I like the way they convey everything on there front page, double page spreads etc. The company that produced Billboard are Prometheus Global Media. I have also chosen this publishing house as they have been very successful and popular with the public.

Representations
The representations that I want to convey when producing my magazine is going to be something that links in with particular genre that I have chosen being RnB. To ensure that I stick to this particular look and style I will make sure that the model I use within my magazine will be dressed appropriately therefore leading them to wear crop tops and high waisted shorts. Similarly I will present the model with particular body language and facial expressions that relate to the genre therefore they may have a fun and energetic vibe about them.
