    Simple present tense adalah suatu bentukkata kerja yang paling sering digunakan dalam bahasa inggris dimana digunakan untuk mengungkapkan kejadian factual danhabitual (kebiasaan), general maupun tidak general, instruksi, maupun rencana atau jadwal.
