Accepting the Challenge of Excellence (ACE) Award

The Ace Award is designed to recognize students who have overcome significant obstacles, yet who are continuing to excel in High School studies. These problems may have included physical, emotional, abuse, and/or other challenges, but the student may not have always received recognition for their accomplishments. The first place winner will receive a cash award in the amount of $500. The special recognition afforded by the ACE Award serves as a powerful example that hard work and perseverance does result in commendation and compensation. To nominate a student for the ACE Award, please follow these steps: Gather the students full name, address and phone number. Ascertain that the student will graduate in 2013. Please note in a one page summation addressed to the Committee why you feel this student should be considered for the Award. Notify the Jacksonville Exchange Club of your student choice via return email to one of the recipients listed below no later than: February 28th, 2013. In closing, thank you immensely for your assistance in helping the Jacksonville Exchange Club recognize outstanding performance. The ACE Award presentation will be held at one of our regularly scheduled luncheons on a Thursday of which you will be notified in adequate time.
